Construction Bookkeeping Technician – CBT - Allows anyone to set up and operate a simple bookkeeping system for a construction company. It covers the topics of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll and job cost.
Estimating and Scheduling Practioner — ESP - Learn about various types of estimates and the skills of an estimator. Learn a step-by-step approach in preparing project schedules utilizing the critical path method and precedence schedules.
Construction Document Specialist — CDS - This two-part course covers the fundamentals of construction documentation. Part one, Construction Working Drawings and Project Manual, covers working drawings of all types. Part two, Introduction to Construction Estimating and Scheduling, covers estimating principles, preparation of the bid, quantity survey and project scheduling. CDS certification is based on a passing grade of 75 percent or higher on both exams.
Construction Industry Specialist — CIS - A comprehensive overall look at the construction industry and will prepare the participant for further training and educational opportunities needed in the various construction career pathways. CIS certification is based on completion of this home-study program with a passing grade of 75 percent or higher.
Construction Industry Technician — CIT - Incorporates the latest changes in the construction industry and represents an overview of the construction industry and its processes. CIT certification is based on completion of this home-study program with a passing grade of 75 percent or higher.
